Craft Decor is a family-run business founded in 1977. We provide services to both private & commercial clients in Dorset, Hampshire & across the South and continue to enjoy a good reputation for reliability, a firm commitment to quality, our specialist skills and traditional craftsmanship.
We work on projects ranging from period property sash window repair & restoration to major renovations & timber restoration within listed buildings, from commercial refurbishments to ongoing property maintenance contracts... We even painted and maintained Bournemouth pier and seafront for 15 years.
Wherever possible, we try to use genuine materials, original parts & specialist paints to complement the modern skills & techniques we use - retaining character, improving durability & longevity, producing a high specification, quality finish and breathing life back into your property.
Sash Window Repair & Restoration - We offer a complete sash window repair and restoration service including replacement of genuine cast glass, anttique or new fixtures & fittings, re-cording, modern double-glazing or simple draught-proofing - often significantly contributing to HIPs and Energy Performance ratings.
Timber Restoration - We offer in-situ timber restoration and conservation. We are skilled and experienced in using many high-specification, technological solutions (including 'Window Care Systems') within the restoration and renovation of many listed buildings & period properties.
We also continue to offer a comprehensive repair & general property maintenance capability (with 24hr response call-out) for properties of all sizes and ages - combined with ongoing or annual painting & decorating contracts for many large residential developments and apartment blocks across Dorset & Hampshire.
After more than 30 years of service, Craft Decor has grown to become a 'Main Contractor' in its own right - regularly co-ordinating large property maintenance and restoration/renovation projects. The Company is also a full member of several leading industry bodies.
